Shahid was “very shy” when he told Neliima about his feelings for Mira
Neliima Azeem recalled the time when her son Shahid Kapoor confessed his love for Mira Rajput to her. He was’very shy,’ she said, and she wasn’t sure how she would respond to the news. Shahid and Mira married in a private ceremony in Gurugram in 2015 after meeting via an arranged marriage. Misha, their four-year-old daughter, and Zain, their two-year-old son, are their children.
“He was really quiet when he told me,” Neliima said in an interview with a leading newspaper. He’s like that; he’s careful, and he wasn’t sure how I’d respond, but I became impressed. We met after he showed me her photograph. Mira was cute, young, and full of excitement, love, and affection when I met her. At first sight, I fell in love with her.”
Neliima spilled about her daughter-in-law, describing her as “very intelligent,” “sensible,” and “balanced.” “Of course, she is very attractive, sexy, and attractive. She is also someone who has recently restored balance in our family. She is an excellent housewife and companion.

She has adjusted to the life of a film actor in such a mature manner for her generation. She is a young mother who shines in everything she does. She is Shahid’s best friend and companion, more than anything else,” she said.
With an Instagram Story of the two of them, Mira wished Neliima a happy Mother’s Day. “Have a wonderful Mother’s Day, mom. Your optimism and zest for life are truly inspirational. And I adore the fact that we’re both on the same page,” she said.
Shahid’s next big screen appearance will be in Jersey, a remake of the Telugu sports drama of the same name. On Diwali, his father Pankaj Kapur and Mrunal Thakur will star in the film, which will be released in theatres (November 5).
Meanwhile, Shahid will star in an Amazon Prime series directed by Raj and DK, which will premiere later this year. “When I first heard the writing project, I fell in love with it, and the rest is history! He said in a tweet, “I can’t wait to share this series with the public.”
