Selena Gomez teams up with mom Mandy Teefey to launch Wondermind

With the support of her mother, Mandy Teefey, and Daniella Pierson of The Newsette, Selena Gomez has developed a new mental wellness platform. The platform’s major goal is to promote mental health and de-stigmatize psychological disorders.

“No matter how low or confused you might feel, we’ve been there too,” the platform’s official website claims. So, with open talks, physical tools, daily material, and a supportive community, we built a location where we could work it all out every day.”

The founding members of Wondermind, according to their official Instagram account, wanted to create an “inclusive” space where people could open up about their mental health difficulties. “We’ve all struggled with mental illness, and we realized there was no open, enjoyable, and accessible venue for people to get together to explore, talk, and negotiate their experiences.” As a result, we made it,” their statement reads.

Take a look at Wondermind’s social media platform:

Gomez has always been a supporter of mental health awareness. She had also stated that she suffered from bipolar disorder. The newly created website will also offer podcasts and include interviews with celebrities regarding their mental health struggles.

The initiative of the Lose You To Love Me singer promises to provide “mental fitness” with “no judgment, just growth.” “I’m very excited about Wondermind because I want there to be a place where people come together and understand that they’re not alone,” Gomez says in the welcome video.
