Steve and Martin have been comedy partners for quite a while now. They have collaborated multiple times over the decades. The duo appeared together in the modern comedy classic, Three Amigos and the 1991 remake of Father Of The Bride.

The duo will find themselves obsessed with the true-crime of their own in the new series, Only Murders In The Building. The series was announced back in January at the Television Critics Association winter press tour.

Selena will also be the executive producer of the show with Martin, Short, John Hoffman, This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal, CEO of Rhode Island Ave. Production. The show has a straight-to-series order.

The idea of the show is said to be by Martin and he will co-write it with John. Hulu’s head of original programming, Craig Erwich, said it was the best hour he had in all week when he heard the pitch. He said, ‘It’s really special, surprisingly emotional. It’s really modern and self-referential about podcasts and murders, it’s got some great surprises. When they pull this off, it’s going to be really special.’

Because of the global pandemic, the singer will be taught virtually while her friends and family taste-test it at the end.

Selena showcases her goofy side as the chef says he is cooking on an electric stove. The singer says she has it too, soon realizing that her stove isn’t electric. Embarrassed, she slides down and waves her hand over the counter apologizing.

I think I’ve been asked hundreds of times in interviews if I had another career, what would I do and I’ve answered that it would be fun to be a chef,” the singer said at the time. “I definitely don’t have the formal training though! Like many of us while being home I find myself cooking more and experimenting in the kitchen.”
