Season 6 of Lucifer will feature a new mystery character

Just in time for the show’s end, Lucifer season 6 will debut a whole new character. Lucifer, which was once a fan favorite on Fox, has now been taken up by Netflix and has become one of the streaming provider’s most popular original series. The Tom Ellis-starring series recently released the final episodes of Season 5, which had some game-changing revelations. After resuming off where season 5, part 1 left off last summer, Lucifer investigated God’s (Dennis Haysbert) arrival as he searched for his perfect replacement.

Season 5 of Lucifer was once thought to be the final season of the show. The sitcom was given a surprising sixth season after Ellis’ Netflix contract was renewed. Now that will be the true end of Lucifer, and it’s shaping up to be a fitting send-off.

New Mysterious Character

Lucifer will spend the next ten episodes adjusting into his new role as God and maintaining his love with Chloe Decker (Lauren German), which hit a new high point in season 5B. The last season has been labelled as “unique,” implying that there would be lots of surprises in hand.

Co-showrunners Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson teased what’s to come in season 6 when speaking with TVLine about Lucifer’s recent developments. Despite the fact that current season is coming to a conclusion, at least one new character will be introduced in the upcoming episodes. When asked if Season 6 had given them the opportunity to bring in a character they initially thought would be cut, Henderson responded, “It has allowed us to bring in a character we previously thought would be eliminated.” “Oh, that’s a great one…. Season 6 introduces a new character who did not appear in Season 5. A very different personality.”

So far, Brianna Hildebrand’s rebellious angel Rory and Merrin Dungey’s Sonya, a uniformed police who builds a friendship with Amenadiel, have been officially announced for Lucifer season 6. (D.B. Woodside). It remains to be seen whether any of these two arrivals is the one Henderson was referring to, but it’s not impossible. On the other hand, a third mystery figure for Lucifer season 6 could be on the way, which may make things a little crowded.

Only a few more facts regarding Lucifer season 6 are available, aside from the new characters. There will be a time jump between seasons, and the most expensive episode Lucifer has ever created will be found somewhere between the last 10 episodes. Fans will have to wait for answers to questions like how Lucifer will adjust to being God and whether Dan Espinoza (Kevin Alejandro) will be reborn in any way. Netflix should hopefully not keep them on their toes for too long.
