Season 4 of Stranger Things introduces four new Hawkins High characters
Stranger Things season 4 will feature four new cast members, all of whom will play students and instructors at Hawkins High School. The fourth season of the popular sci-fi/horror show has been delayed multiple times due to the covid-19 outbreak, but production is still on. Stranger Things season 4 stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, and Sadie Sink, in addition to the numerous new faces.
Stranger Things season 3 ended with a lot of unanswered questions. After shutting down the Soviets’ attempt to reopen the Upside Down, Hopper appeared to be destroyed, only to be discovered to have survived and now being held as a prisoner in Siberia. With Eleven, the Byers family moved away from Hawkins. Several important people, including Max’s brother Billy, died as a result of the Upside Down monster attacks.
Stranger Things season 4 appears to be spending a lot of time within Hawkins High’s walls. The new characters should inject some fresh energy into the series and assist to fill the void left by the many characters who have since left Hawkins for various destinations. Of course, Will, Eleven, Hopper, and the others are bound to rejoin with the Hawkins crew at some point. However, depending on how Season 4’s storyline unfolds, this could take some time.
Regardless, it’s thrilling to see so many new characters join the Stranger Things universe. The series was initially successful due to its 1980s aesthetic and Steven King-style horror narrative. In the years afterward, the series has become much more ensemble-driven, with stories stretching beyond the core group of kids.
Fans return to the show because of the characters, and the show has introduced a large number of them in its first three seasons. Stranger Things season 4 will introduce a new generation of kids to Hawkins.
