Season 4-6 Of American Horror Story To Depart Netflix In October 2021
Fate repeats itself! We have seen American Horror Story leave Netflix ‘temporarily’ earlier and the same is schedule to happen in October as well.
However, there has been no official confirmation this time whether American Horror Story season 4-6 will be removed permanently or partially like before.
Which Seasons Are Being Removed?
In October 2021, we will see three seasons of the show ‘American Horror Story’ depart from Netflix. The seasons are:
- Freak Show (Season 4 – 2014) – October 6th
- Hotel (Season 5 – 2015) – October 4th
- Roanoke (Season 6 – 2016) – October 3rd
The anthology series is created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. It has a spin-off show with a similar name ‘American Horror Stories’ that releases on FX on Hulu. It is pretty successful and well-received with the audience.
Last year season 8 left Netflix US for a while but was added back to the content library after the release date of Season 9 was announced.
Other Netflix Regions
Other seasons such as Murder House (Season 1), Asylum (Season 2), Coven (Season 3), Cult (Season 7), Apocalypse (Season 8), 1984 (Season 9) and have got no removal date from Netflix US.
One important thing to note is that the removal of Season 4-6 is only going to happen for Netflix US subscribers. Other regions will continue as usual.
However, Netflix South Korea carries only seasons 7 through 9 of American Horror Story. Some others regions also have only seasons 7 and 9 of the show.
Netflix Australia no longer streams the show at all after a rather fragmented removal.
