Scarlett Johansson & Chris Evans Set To Reunite For A Project
Behold MCU fans!! Your favourite team is collaborating yet again as Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff will grace your screens.
Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans are set to reunite for Apple’s upcoming adventure movie called Ghosted. THR reported that no details have been revealed yet about the venture but so far it has been described as a “high-concept romantic action-adventure in the vein of Romancing the Stone”.
That movie featured Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner. Ghosted is set to be directed by Dexter Fletcher and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. They have previously written for Deadpool and Zombieland. Chris has also jumped on board when it comes to producing the venture. He will be producing it alongside David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger of Skydance.
This is one of Apple’s aggressive plans to attract top actions for its growing feature division. Currently, the company is working on Emancipation, a slave drama starring Will Smith. This will also mark as the second project Scarlett has signed on after filing a lawsuit against Disney over alleged contract breaches. The first was coming on board the new Wes Anderson movie, which is now shooting in Spain.
Chris has been appreciated for his work on Defending Jacob, which he had made for Apple. He recently wrapped up with The Gray Man alongside Ryan Gosling. This project reunited Chris with his Avengers filmmakers, Joe and Anthony Russo.
