In the web series starring Manoj Bajpayee, Samantha Akkineni played Raji, a Sri Lankan Tamil liberation fighter. She dressed up like her character in the video she posted on Wednesday afternoon. As she sings, she can be seen swaying about the room.
The Eega star captioned the video on Instagram: “In the interim… @rajanddk #RAJI #thefamilyman2 For those of you who are curious in how I prepared for the parts yo We know we’re bad, but does it stop us? Samantha Akkineni appeared in Raj and DK’s film with Sharib Hashmi and Shahab Ali, among others.
Samantha Akkineni wrote on Instagram shortly after the premiere of The Family Man 2 last month, “When Raj and DK requested me to do the character, I was mindful that portraying Raji’s character required sensitivity and balance.”
