Coldplay and BTS might be collaborating very soon and fans are discussing the probability of that actually happening.
This came after a snippet was leaked of an upcoming Coldplay song. The song went viral after ARMYs noticed that the voice at the beginning of that sounded like they belong to a BTS member. And BTS’ fans recognized the voices belonged to Taehyung and Jungkook.
However, after speculations started spurring, Big Hit Music, which is BTS’ label made a statement about the alleged collaboration between the bands. This statement has only added more fire to the speculations. The rumour also had other hints for it to be true as fans noticed that a music lyric site had uploaded lyrics of the upcoming Coldplay song, My Universe.
Not only that, but the page also mentioned BTS would be featuring on the song. And on the page, there were denotations for where there would supposedly be Korean lyrics. Some fans also refuted these rumours deeming the lyrics as an error or a fake page itself. However, there was another hint which had the ARMY second-guessing.
A snippet of My Universe leaked and BTS fans allegedly recognized the two voices in the beginning. This sounded like Jungkook and Taehyung who are a part of the K-Pop boy band. Further, speculation was rife as Big Hit Music made a statement and said that it is difficult to confirm. After this, fans were convinced that the collab is happening and they are taking to Twitter to express their excitement at the probability.
A tinier section of fans even considered the possibility of it not being a BTS and Coldplay collaboration; but one with BTS members Taehyung and Jungkook (collectively known as Taekook). Many other fans also pointed out how BTS member; Taehyung has, on several occasions, expressed his love and appreciation towards Coldplay.
Even if the collaboration doesn’t happen, fans will surely see the two bands together at the Global Citizen Live concert as both of the bands are set to perform there.
