Rumble Trailer Reveals Early Paramount+ Release

The much-awaited teaser for Paramount’s latest animated picture Rumble has finally arrived; with a release date that is earlier than expected. The animated film was originally scheduled to be released in July 2020; however, due to the epidemic, it was put back several times, with the most recent release date being February 2022.

Rumble is set in a world where monsters are revered as superstar athletes in the global sport of monster wrestling; and it follows Winnie, a 17-year-old aspiring monster manager, and her most recent trainee, Steve. The latest teaser from Paramount immerses viewers in the fictional town of Stoker, dubbed the “birthplace of monster wrestling,”; with a focus on Winnie and Steve’s relationship as the underdog tries to regain his footing; showing their unconventional training practises.

Along with the trailer, Paramount also announced that Rumble will be released on December 15, 2021, instead of February 18, 2022, and will be streamed exclusively on Paramount+. Take a look at the trailer below.

Will Arnett portrays Steve, and Geraldine Viswanathan portrays Winnie, his counterpart. WWE Superstars Roman Reigns and Becky Lynch are among the sports-themed cast; which also includes Charles Barkley, Stephen A. Smith, and Terry Crews.

The film’s plot was based on a Rob Harrell graphic novel from 2013, Monster on the Hill, with alterations made by Rumble movie writers Matt Lieberman and Hamish Grieve. Grieve will also be directing the film; which will be his first time directing a full picture. The latest trailer gives fans a sneak peek at this endearing underdog story; as well as a taste of the monstrously good time that moviegoers can expect this Christmas season. Rumble will be available to stream on Paramount+ starting December 15th.
