Rihanna assures all of us that we will not be disappointed with the release of the new music.
The singer has been busy with her new skincare line called Fenty Skin. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Rihanna reveals her skincare line and from where it all started.
Talking about her music, Rihanna revealed that she is always working on her music. She said that she will put out her music when she feels fit. However, she assures us that we will not be disappointed when it does and it is going to be worth it.
“I am always working on music,” Rihanna expressed via video chat. “I am always working on music and when I am ready to put it out in the way that I feel fit, it’s gonna come out. And you’re not going to be disappointed when it happens. It’s going to be worth it.”
Rihanna said she will not just put it out because people are waiting. She further says that it has taken so long and it is going to be worth it. Four years ago, Rihanna released her eighth studio album, Anti. Since then, fans have been waiting for her to come out with new music. There has been a lot of rumors about her collaborating with Eminem recently.
Rihanna on Completing 15 Years of Her Debut
Rihanna did reflect on her work while recalling her debut single. Fans have been celebrating the 10 and 15 years anniversary of Rihanna songs. However, the singer said it reminds her that she is 10 years or 15 years older now. She said it feels like it was just yesterday. Rihanna’s debut single, “Pon de Replay,” has completed 15 years while “What’s My Name” and “Love the Way You Lie,” have completed 10 years.
The singer says she is really grateful to still be here and also being able to expand her venture. She says it has been fun and she cannot complain.
Meanwhile, Rihanna’s new Fenty Skin released on July 31. The brand calls itself the ‘new culture of skincare’. It will include a three-step collection including Total Cleanser Remove-It-All Cleanser, Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum, and Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer + SPF.
Talking about her new skincare line, Rihanna said she wants it to be different from anything that is out in the market. She further adds she wants the products to be simple and accessible, with high-level ingredients. The Fenty creator says some of the brands do have them but they are very expensive which makes them less accessible.
Rihanna further said, “I realized that you can actually make the best product and it does not have to be inaccessible,” she continued, adding she’s giving people what they need. “Three simple steps, and from there we take them on a journey throughout their skincare.”
The singer posted a video on her YouTube channel recently explaining in detail what is special about Fenty Skin and the ingredients which make it eco-friendly. She also revealed that the products will be recyclable and refillable.
Fenty Skin- Coral-Reef Friendly
The singer revealed in the YouTube video about the product she is really proud of is the sunscreen that she created under Fenty Skin. She explains, ‘A lot of people have their own ideas about SPF and who should use it and who shouldn’t, but SPF is for everyone. Every skin tone. All skin types. Every race’.
Rihanna also pointed out that the sunscreen is coral-reef friendly because it was important for her to make sure there were no harmful ingredients in the products. She also thinks that her brand should stay away from excess packaging. Usually, in the beauty industry, there is a lot of wasteful practices that occur due to excess packaging, which she wanted to avoid.
‘So, we are using less packaging, we are eliminating boxes wherever we could, and we are using recyclable materials whenever we can,’ she clarified. She also revealed that Fenty Skin will have fillable systems in place. People can keep refilling and recycling after the outside packaging.
[Fenty Skin] is a very upfront brand and we try to give you guys the best,’ said Rihanna. She also explained each product ingredient in detail.
