The Indian mythological serial Ramayan is back on the screens amid the lockdown of the country due to coronavirus and people are nostalgic!
It was pure joy for everyone when Doordarshan had announced that it will re-air Ramayan on the channel. While people were getting bored inside their homes amid the lockdown due to coronavirus, it gave them a gush of nostalgia. Everyone with their families is nowadays catching up with the show including the lead character of the show himself, Arun Govil.
A picture has gone viral on social media which sees the veteran actor Arun watching the show with his entire family. Check out the picture below:
It was recently when he had told IANS, “The new generation will get a chance to watch it. They will get to understand the morals, teachings and values of Ramayan. If they will watch it with the family, they can interact also. If they have queries then their family members of the older generation can explain things. It is a family show. How relationships should be…has been shown in the show. Positivity is there. Right now there is a lockdown, you can’t go anywhere. So watching it will be a good way to use the time.”
Well, it’s not just Ramayan which is back on the screens. Several other shows from the 80s are back again including Mahabharat, Byomkesh Bakshi and Circus.
