Kangana Ranaut is one of the rare celebrities in Bollywood who are vocal about their political views. Recently, Rangoli Chandel sister and manager of Kangana tweeted about her friendship with Aamir Khan.
The series of tweet shared on the occasion of Women’s day left everyone confused. In the tweet, Rangoli alongside a video said “She is a legend, has inspired an entire generation and not to forget at one point she followed Aamir her role model, he too mentored her, sadly things are very different now but it’s ok it’s life, a friendship that can be affected by political views isn’t strong enough anyway.
Why is Kangana Upset with Aamir Khan?
However, the controversy between the two began last year. When Aamir did not attend the special screening of Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi.
The incident left the 32-year-old actress angry and later went on to share her views. She said, “When Aamir called me for Dangal, Secret Superstar, I went all the way to the Ambani’s house.” Dangal, for me, was a film about women empowerment. But they don’t have time for any of my trails. I have two-three films coming up, but I don’t expect people to write about them. For me, this is a revelation that this film, what Rani Laxmibai has done, is this freedom only mine? Doesn’t it belong to anybody else?
Although Rangoli did not stop tweeting and later went ahead praising Aamir Khan for helping her set goals in her career.
Besides Aamir, there were other men to thank like Anurag Basu, Sadhguru and Prime Minister Modi for being her role model.
