Pizza Dog as Santa and Clint alongside Kate are shown on a Hawkeye poster
In the official poster for Marvel’s upcoming Hawkeye, Clint Barton, Kate Bishop, and Lucky the Pizza Dog are ready for combat.
The MCU’s Disney+ efforts will return to live-action with Hawkeye after deviating into animation with What If…? this summer. The six-episode series will launch in late November and run through the holidays, which is appropriate given that it will be the MCU’s first official Christmas show.
In Hawkeye, Jeremy Renner reprises his role as Clint, while Hailee Steinfeld joins the MCU as Kate, a popular comic character.

Hawkeye will pick up after the events of Avengers: Endgame, which saw Clint lose his family and head down a dark path. Clint is determined to make their Christmas special now that they’ve been brought back to life. His holiday plans are thrown into disarray when his vigilante past comes back to haunt him. Hawkeye also stars Florence Pugh, Alaqua Cox, Fra Fee, Brian D’Arcy James, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, and Vera Farmiga, in addition to Renner and Steinfeld.
With less than a month until the two-episode premiere of Hawkeye, Marvel Studios released the show’s official poster on social media. Clint and Kate pose with their bows in the poster, which is reminiscent of the comics by Matt Fraction and David Aja that inspired the show. The true MVP, though, has to be Lucky the Pizza Dog, who is incredibly charming in his Santa cap.

Between the Santa hat and the lights stretched across the Manhattan Bridge, the Hawkeye poster keeps the Christmas vibes continuing. Beyond that, it appears to confirm that, while the series is named for Clint, Kate will play an equal role in the series. Hawkeye is her origin tale, and she’ll likely come into her own in a big manner over the course of the six episodes. Clint is set to hand over the Hawkeye mantle to Kate in this episode, though it’s unclear where that would leave him.
