Pardes Actor Affan Waheed Reveals That He Did Not Want To Work With Dur-e-Fishan Saleem Initially

Pardes’ Cast On ‘Something Haute’

The young stars of Pardes, Affan Waheed and Dur-e-Fishan Saleem are always coming up with solid performances in their respective roles.

Recently, in an exclusive chat with Hassan Choudary, from “Something Haute,” Affan and Dur-e-Fishan shared some interesting details about their roles with the audience and how they managed to build a terrific couple chemistry for the drama.

What Did They Say?

Talking about the experience of working with each other for the first time, Dur-e-Fishan shared an interesting anecdote. “Initially, Affan wasn’t sure of working with me. He told the production house as well that he don’t want to work with me and then he came on the first day after our first scene and told me that this was his first thought,” she shared.

Actress Dur-e-Fishan also went on to say that “However, right from the next day itself we were cordial and we had a great time being on-screen together. The fear of working with a newcomer is quite understandable because it such a big project, so it is natural to speculate if you’ll be able to work with a new person”.

With the soapy stuff on our screens, the love-comedy theme provides a much-needed break from the ordinary. ‘Shehnai’ is a well-crafted product that has all the right ingredients to entertain. It’s got the right pace along with solid performances backed with a great script; the USPs required to keep the viewers hooked.

Ramsha Khan is effortless as the free-spirited girl and comes across as a more mature performer with every project she’s part of. The chemistry between the lead actors is yet to be explored. The rest of the cast fit their characters very well and provide great humor and laughter at regular intervals.
