PAK vs AFG: The Pak-Afg ODI series has been postponed by mutual arrangement, by both boards

The Pakistan-Afghanistan One-Day International series, which was scheduled to begin next month, has been postpone.

On this issue, the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Afghanistan Cricket Board came to an agreement. After the Taliban assumed control of Afghanistan, the situation has not improved. In such a situation, the Afghanistan team faced numerous difficulties on their way to Sri Lanka.

The players in Afghanistan are under mental and additional pressure as a result of the current state of terror in the country. As a result, the two-match ODI series between the two countries has been postponed indefinitely.

“We have accepted the request of the Afghanistan Cricket Board, ACB we requested that the mental health of their players, flight problems in Kabul, lack of broadcast facilities, and In view of the increasing cases of corona virus in Sri Lanka, the series played between the two countries should be postponed, both the boards will,” the Pakistan Cricket Board wrote in an official tweet.

Following the troubles in Sri Lanka, the CEO of the Afghanistan Cricket Board, Hamid Shinwari, stated, “We had discussed organising this series in Pakistan after the difficulties in Sri Lanka.” However, because of the current scenario and the unstable situation in the country, it was decided to postpone it.
