Oprah ‘Wasted Millions’ As Prince Harry Threw Big Exclusive On James Corden

Oprah Winfrey is allegedly have said to have wasted million on her interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after the Duke of Sussex gave away a huge exclusive to James Corden.

The legend’s interview with the royal couple is going to premiere in the US this Sunday. It will have them opening up about their new life in America after stepping down as senior royals. Although as we all witnessed, days before the snippet of Oprah’s interview was released, Harry had appeared on The Late Late Show of James Corden.

The prince dropped this huge bombshell about his decision to leave. He talked to James about why he really quit Britain. However, this subject was to have been the huge feature of his chat with Oprah as she may have wanted to keep that line for her own interview.

Paper’s Late Editor Benjamin Butterworth suggests that the revelation must have left Oprah fuming. He said: “I think they were desperate to get their story out there. Anyone that saw James Corden and Prince Harry on Friday, first of all, Oprah must have been livid that he’d already given the line of why he quit the Royals to James Corden so she’s not got that as an exclusive.”

Benjamin further added that she wasted a couple of million there. However, he shared, “So she’s wasted a couple of million there but I just find it utterly extraordinary how a couple that are so rich and have had such a high position in life as the Duke and Duchess can manage to make themselves appear so cheap.”

“It was destroying my mental health.”

When Harry talked to his old pal, James, he was asked why did he leave as he uprooted his family and moved to the US. James asked him: “It’s such a monumental decision to have walked away from the royal family.”

He further asked why did Harry think that was necessary and the right thing to do for him and his family. The duke replied, “We all know what the British press can be like. It was destroying my mental health. I was like, ‘This is toxic’…”

Harry further went ahead to address the furore over his life of service quotes which stemmed from a joint statement which was released by the couple after the Queen made their departure official.

The monarch released a statement in which she stripped the pair of their royal patronages, declaring: “In stepping away from the work of The Royal Family it is not possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service.”

After some time, the royal couple themselves released a statement which has been seen as a rebuke of the Queen’s words as they wrote, “We can all live a life of service. Service is universal.” However, Harry clarified the statement further as he told James that his life is always going to be about public service. He added that Meghan signed up for that and they both enjoy doing that.
