Only Murders has been renewed for season 2, as Selena says “so ready for this”
Only Muders in the Building, starring Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin, has been renewed for a second season. Gomez confirmed the announcement on her Instagram story, where she expressed her excitement for the event, writing, “So ready for this.” The first season of the Hulu show, which premiered in August, was well-received.
Renewed For Season 2
Fans, like Gomez, will no doubt be delighted to learn that Only Murders in the Building will be renewed for a second season. The show was able to attract an unusual demographic of viewers, with not only Selena fans, but also Steve Martin and Martin Short fans becoming addicted to the show.
Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez), Charles-Haden Savage (Steve Martin), and Oliver Putnam (Martin Short) were the three main characters in the first season of the show, and they worked together to solve a real-life crime occurrence that happened in the building. This group of true-crime podcast fans finds themselves in the middle of an adventure as they work together to investigate a crime.

The lead cast of the show has gotten along really well, as proven by the show’s promotional events and all of Gomez’s BTS footage published on Instagram. Selena’s return to television after starting off as a Disney star on shows like Wizards of Waverly Place makes the show even more memorable for her.
While fans are excited for the second season, some Selenators are concerned that it will put the singer’s musical career on wait for the time being.
