On the first anniversary of Chadwick Boseman’s death, Marvel actors Mark Ruffalo, Michael B Jordan, and others pay tribute

On the first anniversary of Chadwick Boseman’s death, Marvel Cinematic Universe actors Mark Ruffalo, Michael B Jordan, and Lupita Nyong’o went to social media to pay emotional tribute to their late co-star and actor Chadwick Boseman. On August 28, 2020, at the age of 43, the Black Panther alum said his final goodbyes to the world after suffering to colon cancer.

Mark Ruffalo

Marvel’s Hulk, Mark Ruffalo, paid tribute to the late actor and his friend on Instagram and Twitter. “I can’t believe how quickly time has passed. “Thinking of you today,” he said, alongside a photo of Boseman in all smiles.

Along with Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, and others, Ruffalo and Boseman co-starred in the latter’s previous two Avengers films, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

Michael B. Jordan, who played Boseman’s onscreen rival Erik Killmonger in the Marvel films and co-starred with him in Black Panther, posted a touching tribute to the late actor beside a photo of the two of them. “Not a single day goes by, dude… He captioned the photo, “Love and miss you, but I know you’re still with us [sic].” A happy Chadwick is seen with Jordan at an event in what appears to be a casual photograph.

Lupita Nyong’o also paid respect to her late co-star Chadwick Boseman on Instagram. “I had no idea I could miss both his laughter and silence in the same way. Yes, I do. Yes, I do… The memory of @chadwickboseman remains thus alive in me [sic] one year after his death,” she wrote.

Nyong’o’s Instagram profile image also features a photo of her with Chadwick Boseman, and fans have shed a tear or two as a result. Nyong’o and Boseman co-starred in the film Black Panther.
