Today is the 89th anniversary of the Indian Air Force (IAF). The celebrations will take place at the Hindon Air Force Station in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, as they do every year, with the Chief of Air Staff and other officials from the three armed forces in attendance. It is a source of immense pride for the country.
Many celebrities send their best wishes to the armed forces on this day. Kangana Ranaut posted a story on her Instagram account wishing them well.
Best Wishes from Kangana Ranaut
“Salutations to your courage and bravery,” she writes. “With glory, touch the sky.” Three fighter jets with an Indian flag are seen on the poster. It’s worth noting that the IAF was founded on October 8, 1932. It was originally known as the Royal Indian Air Force, but after India gained independence in 1950, the word Royal was eliminated. The Indian Air Force (IAF) is the country’s air force and the world’s fourth-largest. It is led by an Air Chief Marshal, with the President of India serving as the Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief.
This year’s IAF Day celebration will honor the heroes of the 1971 war, in which India defeated Pakistan and Bangladesh was born.

On the work front, Kangana will next be seen in Tejas, in which she will portray an Indian Air Force pilot. She will also appear in Dhaakad, Manikarnika Returns The Legend Of Didda, and an Indira Gandhi biopic.
Bollywood and IAF
Bollywood has told stories about the Indian Air Force and its brave pilots over the years. Many films have dealt with the subject, from Rang De Basanti to Mausam to Agnipankh.
To promote awareness, filmmakers continue to produce films starring major actors centered on the same theme. ‘Tejas,’ starring Kangana Ranaut, is one such future film. On the occasion of Indian Air Force Day, we present six actors who have portrayed Air Officers onscreen.
