Now is the time for Raja Syn to immerse herself in her career

There is very little downtime for model and influencer Raja Syn, who is determined to take advantage of any opportunity that is currently coming her way.

“When I’m not working, I’m likely still working,” says Jamaican-born model Raja Syn. “I’m a very determined person, so when I have a goal set in my mind, it’s the only thing I’m thinking about.”

With a curvaceous body crafted by grueling workout sessions – “I go to the gym every day,” she says. “I’m 100 percent natural, no surgery … but I perfect my image in the gym.” – Raja is open to any and all aspects of the entertainment industry, and has her eye on numerous different opportunities.

“I aspire to be a tv personality with my own show,” she says. “I plan on writing my own book soon. I can sing top, but I’m not really focused on a music career. It might happen. Right now, I’m just moving wherever the universe takes me.”

A bold platform

Raja is an Instagram influencer among one of the top tiers of Instagram, career growth that happened quickly for the model.

When Raja started her Instagram account, she had just finished the book “Rich Dad Poor Dad,” which told in parable form the story of a man who worked hard all of his life and never found financial stability, along with another father who made smart investments to grow his wealth.

Raja knew immediately which one of the fathers she herself would emulate, and she left college after a semester studying foreign language with an emphasis on Chinese to pursue her own dreams and grow her own wealth.

Within a year on the platform, she had already amassed more than 300,000 Instagram followers, which in the world of Instagram followers, is a lot.

She’s also connected with many other people in the industry.

“I’ve gained lots of support from other influencers and celebrities,” she says.

Finding her niche

It is something that friends and family have long since wanted for the exotic beauty, who grew up in both Brooklyn and Baltimore, where she was raised by grandparents and a mother who created for her a tightknit and supportive family unit.

“Everyone always said I should model, but getting signed with an agency seemed impossible to me,” Raja said.

However, there was a place in the modeling and influencer world where she did fit, and she was inspired by the book to seek and find it.

“I turned to Instagram to build my brand. It’s been the best thing I’ve ever done.”

Raja recently moved to Atlanta to further pursue her career goals.

“I moved to Atlanta for a fresh start after realizing Atlanta is the best place to start a career in the entertainment industry as a black girl.”
