Netflix Original Crime Drama Series ‘Narcos: Mexico’ Coming Soon With Season 3

Netflix had officially updated Narcos: Mexico at the end of October 2020, but it was active in the development since a long time ago. 

Now that filming has officially finished, we can start counting down to the release of Season 3. Here’s everything we know about the third season of Narcos: Mexico, which is coming soon to Netflix around the world.

Spin-Off Series

Narcos: Mexico is a Netflix original crime-drama series created by Chris Brancato and Doug Miro.

It was originally scheduled to be the fourth season of the popular crime drama, Narcos, but then it was ultimately decided that the release of Narcos: Mexico will be done as a spin-off.

Cast Members

So far Diego Luna and Michael Pena were seen playing key roles in “Narcos: Mexico” and is still clearly visible that both the public and the critics like their performances. 

The second season was released on February 13th 2020 and the first one had its premiere at the end of 2018.

Renewal Of The Series

Even though there hasn’t been any word from Netflix about Narcos: Mexico it was still supposedly that a season 3 was added in the renewal list a couple of months ahead of the actual announcement date of October 2020.

In an interview with Rolling Stone in May 2020, the Latin-American pop singer Bad Bunny said in the beginning of the year, he also played as an actor in a supporting role in the series Narcos: Mexico. But due to the coronavirus, the series had to be postponed. Bad Bunny also said that he hopes that he will have to shoot narcos: Mexico later on in the year 2020.

February 28, 2020, We received a report from The Hollywood Reporter that the show has been officially renewed for the audience worldwide, but there are big changes that will be brought about.

What Is New In Season 3?

Even though the story of Félix Gallardo is all but over, a bloodbath awaits us for the third season of Narcos: Mexico.

As newly independent cartels struggle to survive political upheaval and escalating violence, a new generation of Mexican kingpins emerge.
