Pooja Bhatt slams the trolls for accusing Bhatt camp of nepotism

Since the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, people have been trolling Bollywood industry for nepotism including the Bhatt Camp!

Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide sparked the debate of nepotism once again and it refuses to die down this time. Many celebs like Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha and Sonam Kapoor have been facing the blunt of the audience. Similarly, Bhatt camp too has been facing such trolls.

Now the actress Pooja Bhatt, a part of the Bhatt family, has lashed out at all such trolls. In a thread of tweets, she wrote, “Have been asked to comment on the hot topic Nepotism that people are raging about. As someone who hails from a ‘family’ that has launched more new talent-actors, musicians & technicians, than the entire film industry combined I can only laugh. Facts don’t find takers. Fiction does.”

She also talked about how there was a time when the Bhatt camp was accused of having something against stars and only working with newcomers.

Taking a dig at Kangana Ranaut’s claims, Pooja wrote, “As for Kangana Ranaut-She is a great talent. If not she wouldn’t have been launched by Vishesh films in “Gangster”. Yes Anurag Basu discovered her, but Vishesh Films backed his vision & invested in the film. No small feat. Here’s wishing her the very best in all her endeavours.”

She also revealed that her upcoming film Sadak 2 is going to introduce a new talent who does not come from a filmy background.  

Pooja concluded her stand by saying that people should use the word nepotism to insult someone else and not her family. She also added that the people who got a break through her family’s production house know what they stand for.
