MS Dhoni is celebrating his birthday today, ie on July 7. Sushant Singh Rajput had played the role of the cricketer in his biopic, MS Dhoni: An Untold Story.
Sushant’s Role In MSD’s Biopic
The actor not only acted out the story of the former captain of the Indian cricket team but had also gained a lot of praise for his good imitation of Dhoni’s playing style.
However, before the actor got into making the film, Sushant Singh Rajput had a few exclusive meetings with the captain cool, MS Dhoni himself to prepare for the role.
During the sessions, Dhoni was bombarded with many questions by Sushant.
‘You Ask A Lot Of Questions’
In a shared video from the movie’s press conference, Sushant stated, “For the first time, I saw Dhoni lose his temper. For the first two or three days I asked him questions and he answered them calmly. Then he said you ask a lot of questions let me come back. I was just asking him one question in different ways again and again.”
Doni joined in and added. “He (Sushant) used to ask the same question over and over again and when he got the same answer he then believed I was honest and went to the next question.”
He also said, “It was unusual at first to talk about myself. After 15 minutes you get tired of talking about yourself and I said I needed to rest, I’m leaving.” At the time of the promotion, clips of Sushant playing with his daughter Ziva were also a major talk of the town, pointing to Dhoni and Sushant’s friendship.
