Mrunal Thakur Says Yes To Work With Sidharth Malhotra

Actress Mrunal Thakur is instantly becoming Bollywood’s favorite. The young actress is now signing another project featuring Sidharth Malhotra. The 27-year-old actress is presently working on two other projects this year.

Mrunal is known for her roles in TV serials like Kumkum Bhagya and Mujhse Kuchh Kehti Yeh Khamoshiyaan. In 2018, Mrunal got the chance to display her talent on the big screen with her first movie Love Sonia.

Before long, Mrunal got her first big Bollywood break alongside actor John Abraham in Batla House. In 2019 the actress worked with Hrithik Roshan in Super30. The movie smashed records with film bringing-in more than 100 Crores.

However, the actress will share the screen with Sidharth Malhotra for the first time in the duo’s upcoming movie Thadam. The Love Sonia actress will be playing the role of a cop in the movie. Moreover, she will also be performing several stunts in the movie. According to several reports, Siddharth Malhotra is performing a double-role in the movie as a businessman and as a murderer.

The production team of Thadam will start shooting in May this year with the goal of releasing the movie by early 2021.

This year Mrunal bagged another role in the movie Jersey starring Shahid Kapoor. The movie is the Hindi remake of Telugu movie Jersey with Gowtam Tinnauri at the helm.

Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur are presently shooting for the movie in Chandigarh. The story of the movie revolves around a young cricketer named Arjun who is pursuing his dream of making into the Indian Cricket Team. The movie is releasing in August this year.

Besides Shahid, The actress is also collaborating with Farhan Akhtar in his upcoming movie ‘Toofan’. Another sports drama movie where Farhan plays the role of a struggling National boxer struggling his way to success. The movie also features Paresh Rawal and is expected to release in October this year.
