Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr. Defend Chris Pratt After He’s Labeled Worst of the Chrises
Few of the Avengers assemble yet again to defend their co-star against the hate that he has been receiving. Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo are clapping back at fans and defending their friend, Chris Pratt.
This comes after the internet had a round of polls asking everybody which famous Chris is the first. The internet voted Chris Pratt to be the worst of all the four famous Chrises. The debate has not something new as everybody has been debating and fighting over which Chris is the best.
This week the debate was revived again when producer Amy Berg urged people to choose one Chris who needs to go. She posted photos of all the four Chrises including Chris Evans, Chris Pine, Chris Hemsworth, and Chris Pratt. Everything was fun and games until some started criticizing the actor for his political beliefs.
However, the Hulk, played by Mark, was not here for any of that hate. He set the record straight for the Twitter users for bullying his co-star. Chris and the rest of the cast came together for Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame as their universe collided.
The actor wrote that Chris is a “solid man” and that he knows him personally. He defended him further and said, “I know him personally, and instead of casting aspersions, look at how he lives his life. He is just not overtly political as a rule.”
However, he also directed the attention to what is actually important during this time. The actor deemed it as a distraction and urged fans to keep their eyes on the “prize”. Robert also shut down the haters for Pratt and wrote that the ‘sinless’ are casting stones on his ‘brother’.
Chris Described As The “Best Dude In The World”
Iron Man further wrote, “A real Christian who lives by principle, has never demonstrated anything but positivity and gratitude”. The actor took to his Instagram to defend his co-star and explained that Chris just married into a family that makes space for civil discourse.
He also wrote that his co-star insists service as the highest value. Robert further added that anybody who has a problem with Chris should delete their social media accounts. He added, “Sit with your OWN defects of character, work on THEM, then celebrate your humanness.”
Not only did the cast members came in defense of the actor but his Guardians of the Galaxy writer and director also came to his defense. He described Chris Pratt as the “best dude in the world”.
James Gunn added that he has spent hours sharing his deepest truths with Chris and he has done the same with him. The writer requested people to stop assuming what he believes in politically or in any other way because he is a Christian.
Chris’s wife, Katherine Schwaezenegger also came out in support of her husband and called out the debate. She took to her Instagram to respond and asked people if this is what we need. The author said there is a lot going on in the world and people are struggling in many ways. She said, “Being mean is so yesterday.”
Katherine further added that there is a lot of room for love and love is what we all need. The new mom and dad welcomed their child back in August and named their daughter, Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt.
Sources informed that both the parents have been very hands-on and the mother has been in new mommy bliss. Chris already shares an 8-year-old, Jack with ex-wife, Anna Faris. Anna also sent Chris a gift after he became a dad again.
