Lizzo’s New Quay Campaign Encourages Voting

Lizzo is teaming up with popular sunglasses brand Quay to make sure you hit the polls. She is making sure you are registered to vote in the elections in November.

This is Lizzo’s second time collaborating with the brand. She previously teamed up with them in May and it was directed by her director, Quinn Wilson. The campaign contains everything from oversized aviator shades to a pink and purple ombré pair. It also has a very timely face mask reading “VOTE” in bold letters. 

Her entire wardrobe is bold and bright from bright teal wig to a hot pink gown. She wears a neon green eyeliner while donning the VOTE face mask. The singer also dons a teal faux-fur coat and matching teal faux-snakeskin gloves. Along with it, she pairs it with the “Hold for Applause” style and a glossy black lip.

Lizzo said the shoot felt like family, in an statement about the collection. She adds, “Quinn really took the lead with concepts and I followed her leadership. I trust her so it’s easy to create together.”

The singer further tells fans how important voting is. She said voting is a big way to contribute and to feel like we are all making a change. Lizzo however explained that she wasn’t taught about the importance in school. She further adds she wants to be a part of informing future generations about the power of voting.

The singer said representation is important to her and that it helps people to feel seen. She adds it celebrates diversity and that American people deserve to feel seen. Lizzo further adds that we deserve a government that reflects our beautiful, diverse country and ideals. 

Not just that, Lizzo and Quay are joining forces with the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc. (LDF) and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. Quay will also donate $100K to support the cause.
