Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Pro (OLED) Up To 11th-Gen Intel Core i7 Processor Introduced

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Pro was introduced with an OLED display at CES 2021. The new model is designed to deliver a very high level of contrast and better colors than its LCD variants. Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Pro (OLED) comes with 11th generation Intel Core mobile systems and Intel Iris Xe graphics. The laptop display has a 90Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision HDR support. Lenovo will continue to offer a variety of LCD versions of the Yoga Slim 7i Pro alongside its OLED version.

Price of Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Pro (OLED), Availability Details

Lenovo has not announced the availability date and price of the 14-inch Yoga Slim 7i Pro (OLED) yet. However, the laptop is expected to begin appearing in Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and North America later this year. Details of its launch in India are yet to be confirmed. In August last year, the LCD variation of the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Pro started at an initial price of EUR 799 (approximately Rs. 58,700).

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Pro (OLED) features a 14-inch 2.8K (2,880×1,800 pixels) OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and 16:10 aspect ratio. The display is made by Samsung Display and is designed to have chrominance signals (called chroma) magnified to 1.25 times the value found on the LCD panel. This helps to bring about higher color frequency and darker saturation levels. It is also reported to offer a magnification rate of 667 times higher than the LCD.

The new Yoga Slim 7i Pro display is capable of providing 100 percent DCI-P3 and 125 percent sRGB color gamut. Lenovo also claims that the OLED display reduces blue light emissions by 70 percent above the LCD panel and is able to provide readability even under direct sunlight.

Under the hood, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Pro (OLED) has an 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor, with Intel Iris Xe graphics integrated or up to the Nvidia GeForce MX450. Laptops include up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB PCIe SSD. And the Intel Evo certificate is ready, the company says it will be certified in the second quarter of 2021.
