LAKME FASHION WEEK 2020 HIGHLIGHTS

The Lakme Fashion week 2020 celebrates its 20 years in Mumbai. The 5-day event featured Designers and numerous A-list Bollywood stars.

The Iconic Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2020 adds another jewel to its Crown the show celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. The 5-day edition of the Fashion week began on 11th February in Mumbai. The show featured a collaboration of numerous Bollywood A-list celebrities and designers.

Highlight of Day 1

Designer Manish Arora showed off his new collection “WE ARE FAMILY”

Manish Arora with his vibrant collection celebrated the LGBTQA+ community by letting drag queens represent his work. The attire included headgears in bizzare neon colors and painted faces.

Vicky Kaushal yet another highlight of the day. The Uri star collaborates with Kunal Rawal and looks absolutely charming in the Black suit.

Day 2 & 3

The 20th edition was no ordinary achievement for the Industry and the show never seemed to lack any sort of excitement. Day Three had a theme given to its “Fashion Sustainable Day” in collaborations with the United Nations Environment Program.

The second day of the fashion show featured Designer Reena Singh and Sania Mirza who post her pregnancy looked stunning and walked the ramp wearing the ethnic attire.

Day 3 kicked in with more stars walking the ramp. The list included one of the most adored bollywood couple Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu, followed by Malaika Arora.

Malaika Arora turns every head in the room with her dazzling bridal Lehenga while carrying a Red dupatta. The 46-year-old walked for the debutant Varun Chakkilam.

Day 4 & Day 5

The thrilling fashion week on its last days presented the opportunity to recognized and loved designers a chance to showcase their unique collection. Designers including Amit Aggarwal, House of Kotwara , Sahib Bhatia

Dia Mirza made sure, she added more glamour to the show by wearing the Lehenga designed by the House of Kotwara.

Amit Aggarwal one of the most well-known name in the Industry suprised everyone with his Grand end to the night with his futuristic design which went down well with the Lakme’s theme #Betterin3D

Aggarwal’s represented his collection by the Fashion Icon of the Industry Kareena Kapoor. This is the eleventh time Kareena decided to walk the Prestigious Lakme Fashion Week.
