Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande Let Girl Power Rain Down During 2020 MTV VMAs Performance
Lady Gaga performed few tracks from her new album, Chromatica at the MTV Video Music Awards 2020.
The singer performed a medley of her tracks from the latest album, Chromatica, and also performed a duet with Ariana Grande. Both Ariana and Gaga teamed up for a stunning performance at the MTV VMAs. They performed a special rendition of their hit collab, Rain On Me.

Their performance on stage seemed to be much colorful with insane effects than their music video for the song. The singers brought together Chromatica, Gaga’s album, to life on-stage. The single was premiered on the stage for the VMAs.
The duo wore matching purple outfits and they followed the most necessary thing that we all need to wear. Face Masks. However, after performing Rain On Me, Gaga continued to entertain us.

The singer transformed into a piano that looked like a brain. She sang an acoustic version of “Stupid Love.” This was how the singer was concluding her medley of performances.
Gaga started off by taking the stage to perform her orchestral interlude, as”Chromatica II” began playing. She transitioned the song to 911, which is a fan-favorite. That is when Ariana took to the stage to perform their collab, Rain On Me with Gaga.

Concluding her set, Gaga made one more costume change. She rocked a glittering pink bodysuit. The singer went ahead to a staircase and took her seat at a brain-shaped piano. The popstar began belting an eloquent, stripped-down version of Chromatica‘s lead single “Stupid Love.”
Gaga then stepped away from the piano and addressed her viewers telling them to love themselves. She continued saying she wants us to celebrate ourselves and love who we are. Concluding her little address she said, “Be kind. Mask up. Be brave — and braver all the time.” The singer went ahead to join her crew for one last dance-off.

Gaga performed for the first time after 2013 at the MTV VMAs and also her first time performing her latest, Chromatica. Due to the pandemic, the 2020 MTV award show was broadcast virtually. It was originally set to take place at New York City’s Barclays Center.

Gaga and Ariana lead this year’s nominations with nine nods each. It included categories for video of the year, song of the year and artist of the year. Together, they won for best collaboration. Gaga also took home best song and best artist honors.
