Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick Are Barely Speaking Amid Her Romance With Travis Barker

A source close to the former couple has revealed that things are a little tense between Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick. This comes after the Poosh founder’s new romance with Travis Barker.

The source revealed that Scott has been focusing on his new life in Miami and Kourtney is getting serious with Travis because of which they have a tense relationship. “Scott and Kourtney have a tense relationship right now primarily because he’s been focusing on his new life in Miami and because of Kourtney getting serious with Travis,” the insider explains.

It is further revealed that they are “barely speaking” and it’s hard for him to see Kourtney in love with someone else. Kourtney’s relationship began with her longtime neighbor and friend, Travis earlier this year. The couple went public on their relationship and have been packing all the PDAs on social media. They also took a vacation together for Kourtney’s birthday.

Meanwhile, Scott has been spotted out with model Amelia Hamlin after his breakup with his longtime girlfriend, Sofia Richie. The source has clarified that Kourtney and Scott are not fighting but their relationship has changed. They have not been spending time together as a family. Scott and Kourtney share three children together; Mason, Penelope, and Reign.

“Scott will always be in Kourtney’s life, it’s just a different dynamic right now,” the source explains. “Scott wished Kourtney a happy Mother’s Day privately but is really distancing himself. He doesn’t want to interfere with her relationship. They do connect about the kids often but that’s about the extent of it currently.”

“He is glad she is happy, but it’s definitely been hard on him.”

This is not the first time it has been claimed that Scott is uncomfortable with Kourtney’s love life. Back in April, the Talentless founder shared that he would happily marry the Poosh founder in a clip from Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Another source also claimed that it is uncomfortable for him to see her in a serious relationship although he did know this day would come.

The insider shared that Scott is glad that Kourtney is happy but it is hard on him. “He is glad she is happy, but it’s definitely been hard on him. He doesn’t like to bring it up and it’s a weird convo for him. At one point, the family was really encouraging Scott and Kourtney to try the relationship again and it’s a bit of an eye-opener for him, that it’s truly never going to happen,” the second source shared.

In a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Scott shared why he was nervous to say goodbye to the show. He shared his biggest fear is that they will float apart and not see each other nearly as much. The Talentless founder said, “My biggest fear is that we will float apart and not see each other nearly as much because, if we don’t work together every day, we’re surely not going to see each other every day.” He further said it is sad for him because it is like the ending of an era.
