Kim Kardashian Reacts To Rege-Jean Page Leaving Bridgerton

Kim Kardashian revealed last week that she has also become a superfan of Bridgerton along with million others. She had shared a few of her emotions while watching the Netflix superhit show. The reality star had claimed that she was obsessed with it.

However, she found out that Rege-Jean Page will not be returning as the Duke of Hastings for the second season. He announced that in a subtle way by commenting on an announcement under the show’s Instagram page. Kim’s reaction is totally relatable and is the exact reaction all of us have right now.

The Skims founder commented on the photo, “Wait!!! WHAT????” and she pre-emptively mourned for the loss of the show’s star. Rege-Jean’s departure was announced in a typical fashion of the show as a Lady Whistledown society paper. An excerpt from the letter read: “We bid adieu to Regé-Jean Page, who so triumphantly played the Duke of Hastings. We’ll miss Simon’s presence on screen but he will always be part of the Bridgerton family.”

Kim was quick to comment on the announcement as she expressed her shock after binge-watching the show. She even reposted the announcement to her Instagram page as she wrote she is not okay. The reality star wrote, “I’m NOT ok!!!!! What is happening!!??? How can this be?”

The actor addressed his departure and expressed his gratitude to fans of the show. He commented on the page and shared how it has been an “absolute pleasure” and “a privilege”. The star further added that joining the Bridgerton family and the connection with the cast, crew and the fans have been nothing like he imagined.

Kim’s Obsessed With Netflix’s Bridgerton

He wrote, “It’s been an absolute pleasure and a privilege! Joining this family – the connection on and off-screen, with our cast, our crew, all the incredible fans, has been like nothing I could have ever imagined – the love is real and will just keep growing.”

Just last week the reality star was smitten by the show as she shared snippets of a night in with wine while watching the show. She wrote, “What is happening?!?! I’m not crying!” The KKW Beauty founder had shared the snippet of a scene between Page and Phoebe Dynevor who plays Daphne Bridgerton.

Like many of the show’s fans, Kim might also have been crushing on the actor. She was also not ready to see the character leave just like everyone else. The series has just been another saving grace for many during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. However, for Kim, the British drama’s fantasy aspect might have provided the same amount of distraction amid her divorce from Kanye West.

The parents of four are in the process of distributing their assets after she officially filed for divorce in February. This was after rumors of their divorce being “imminent” for the pair who have been together for seven years. They had stopped communicating with each other as Kanye was down in Wyoming while she stayed in Los Angeles with their four kids.

This was followed after the rapper had shared personal details about their life during his presidential bid. After the bizarre event, he had gone on a Twitter rant writing defamatory things about Kim and her family. It has been said that she is set to get their $60M Hidden Hills estate in the divorce, and she was seen adding an entire mini town to the property last week that included her very own tiny KKW Beauty store. 

She had first met with her high power divorce attorney Laura Wasser in July, and the events of the split are currently unfolding on the family’s final season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
