Keri Hilson Confirms Her Decade Long Beef With Beyonce Is Over

Keri Hilson has confirmed that she has risen above her longstanding beef with Beyonce. The years-long feud between Keri and Beyonce has finally come to an end. In an interview recently, Keri revealed that she and Queen Bey has squashed any beef between them.

Their beef started when Keri threw shade on her 2009 song, Turnin’ On Me. She had referred to the singer with the line, “Your vision cloudy if you think that you da best, You can dance, she can sing, but need to move it to the left… She need to go have some babies, she need to sit down, she fake, them other chicks ain’t even worth talkin’ bout.”

Even after this shade, she received from Keri, Beyonce was gracious when she met her. The R&B hitmaker revealed that the singer introducer herself and it was a gracious moment. She added, “I appreciated it. I feel like she understood what happened, what had transpired and there was a bit of healing at that moment when we met. I take her as a very intuitive kind of soul, as am I.”

When asked if she would ever collaborate with Beyonce, she responded that it would be a fun experience. She noted that will be if she will be open to doing that. The singer shared, “Yeah, it would be a very fun experience to do that if she were open. I do feel like she understood what that was all about. She’s amazing. I’ve always felt that way. That’s the truth of the matter, but no one will believe that.”

“I made a decision that was not authentic to who I truly am..”

Fans of the R&B singer would know that she added fuel to the fire when she refused to be featured in an issue of Juicy magazine because it also featured Beyonce and Jay-Z. Keri shared that they can understand and have mutual respect for each other now. She explained that that is where she is and that is the very minimum that there can be.

Keri said,  “I think at the very minimum there can be that. That’s always possible and that’s where I’m at. I made a decision that was not authentic to who I truly am and of course I regret it. Of course.” Fans of both the singers were divided after the new interview.

Although many of their fans acknowledged that Keri was likely pressurized into dissing Queen Bey when she was early in her career. A person commented that they did not think people realized the effect the industry and labels have on people when they are young.

“I don’t think people realize the effect the industry and labels have on people when you’re young. She was clearly pressured to diss Beyoncé back then and it backfired. She obviously matured,” one person commented. “Beyoncé and Keri need to get together and bring that [fire] long overdue,” another fan wrote.
