Katrina Kaif reveals she did her own makeup for songs like Chikni Chameli and Sheila Ki Jawani

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has revealed how she started doing her own makeup on sets for songs like Chikni Chameli and Sheila Ki Jawani!

Katrina Kaif is one B-town beauty whose looks are always on point. Makeup or no makeup, the actress never misses to floor us all with her good looks. But do you all know that she herself has done her makeup for a few of her popular songs.

Yes, you read that right. The actress herself has revealed how she started doing her own makeup because it was quicker. During her BBC Asia interview, she said, “I had a makeup artist, his name was Subhash dada, and what happened is it started with me saying ‘let me do the liner’ and before you know it, I was doing everything. I was so much faster. I know it’s unusual but that’s the way it is.” She did her own makeup for her popular songs like Chikni Chameli, Sheila Ki Jawani and Mashallah.

The actress also went on to talk about social media and why she joined Instagram much later. “I didn’t feel like I was being represented, or a very small side of me was being represented, and that side was too small,” Kat reasoned.

But she feels that social media is only a showreel of her life and not an actual representation of it. “You’re not seeing the behind-the-scenes, the other moments. Am I also guilty of that? Yes, because it’s a visual medium. If you scroll through my Insta page, you’re seeing the highlights of my life. You’re not seeing the in-between moments of doubt, you’re not seeing the moments of insecurity, you’re not seeing the moments of unhappiness,” said Katrina.

On her professional front, Katrina Kaif is a part of the film Sooryavanshi with Akshay Kumar. Her last release was Bharat alongside Salman Khan.
