Katharine McPhee And David Foster Welcome First Baby

Katharine McPhee will now be singing singing lullabies to her new bundle of joy.

The 36-year-old singer has welcomed her first child, a boy, with her husband, well-known music executive David Foster, 71, her lawyer confirmed on Page Six.

“Mum, Dad and son are all doing wonderfully,” her rep told People in a statement.

The newborn baby is Foster’s sixth child.

McPhee And Foster Relationship

McPhee, who has been married to Foster since June 2019, initially promoted speculation of pregnancy in October, when American Idol alum was photographed showing off her baby bump. Sources later confirmed the pregnancy in Bantu.

Grammy winner Foster has five grown daughters from previous relationships: Amy, Erin, Sarah, Jordan and Allison.

Foster and McPhee were first connected in 2017 and made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala a year later.

In July 2018, the couple got engaged while vacationing on the Italian island of Capri.

“Totally dark only stars. Thankfully he didn’t push me off the cliff. He said it was one of the other and in the end he spared me,” she continued.

“Only the stars are completely dark. Thankfully he didn’t push me down the cliff. He said it was another and finally saved me, ”he said.

McPhee was previously married to Nick Cokas, and this is Foster’s fifth marriage.

He was previously married to B.J. Cook, Rebecca Dyer, Linda Thompson, and most recently, Yolanda Hadid. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, the mother of supermodels Gigi and Bella Hadid, filed for divorce from Foster in January 2016.
