Kat Dennings Reveals How Marvel Studios Prevents Details From Leaking

Kat Dennings recently appeared in a talk show and revealed how Marvel Studios helped her from leaking information about WandaVision.

The actress talked about the Disney+ series on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The host said her show’s DJ, Stephen Boss was a huge fan of the series. “I love it,” the 38-year-old DJ told Dennings.

He told the actress how it is taking everything in him to not ask her 1000 questions about everything that has been going on in the show. The DJ said that he knows she cannot release anything but he loves it.

Kat responded as she shared how Marvel sends us something where they tell them what they cannot say. She said, “You know, they [Marvel] send us a thing of what we can’t say, instead of what we can say.” The actress portrays the astrophysicist Darcy Lewis on the show that stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff and Paul Bettany as Vision.

The 2 Broke Girls star shared how she was in the first Thor movie back in 2011 and its sequel as well. She revealed how it has been eight years since her character has been a part of any Marvel excitement.

However, despite her not being able to reveal anything, she did promise that all the questions will be answered in the series itself. The actress is known widely for her character Max Black in the CBS sitcom, 2 Broke Girls from 2011 to 2017.

Marvel Fans Surprised At Kat’s Appearance In WandaVision

Her film credits include; The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005), Big Momma’s House 2 (2006), Charlie Bartlett (2007), The House Bunny (2008), Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist (2008), Defendor (2009), and Suburban Gothic (2014).

Fans were extremely surprised at the arrival of the former intern Darcy showing up in the show’s fourth episode. The character barely changed, however, she is older and more confident after gaining her doctorate in astrophysics.

In the latest episode of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s WandaVision, her character was sucked into the anomaly that she coined as the “Hex”. WandaVision premiered on January 15 on Disney+ and its nine-episode season will conclude on March 5.

WandaVision has successfully given us back-to-back surprises about the entire scenario that is going on in the MCU. The biggest surprise was at the end of episode 5 as Wanda greets Evan Peters as Quicksilver. Darcy Lewis asks the question we all had in our minds as she was watching it back at S.W.O.R.D.’s camp. She asks if Wanda recast Pietro since it was played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
