Karan Johar apologizes for his social media posts after Australian comedian calls out celebs
Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has been posting videos from his home, sharing glimpses of his day in quarantine!
Current time is difficult for all of us. But we shouldn’t forget that it’s most difficult for the healthcare professionals, policemen and other frontline workers who are risking their lives for us. Recently, filmmaker Karan Johar came across a video and realized how his social media posts have been insensitive towards all those people.
Australian comedian Greta Lee Jackson recently shared a parody video calling out popular celebs who have been posting videos from the comfort of their homes. From Ellen DeGeneres to Amanda Keller and Samantha Armytage, she took a jibe at the social media posts.
Greta ended her video saying, “We are so glad you are ok. You are the true heroes. Give us your money.”
When KJo saw this online, he shared it on Twitter apologizing for his posts. He wrote, “This hit me hard and I have realised many of my posts may have been insensitive to many. I apologise profusely and wish to add none of it was intentional and came from a place of sharing but clearly may have lacked emotional foresight. I am sorry.”
For those who don’t know, Karan Johar has been sharing videos of his twins Yash and Roohi.
