Kanika Kapoor issues a statement, says – Negativity thrown at a person does not change the reality

Singer Kanika Kapoor who had received a lot of criticism for not practicing social distancing, has now issued her statement!

It was after her return from London when popular singer Kanika Kapoor was tested positive with the novel coronavirus. While she got admitted to the hospital, people were trolling her for not practicing social distancing and putting so many lives in danger.

Kanika had been quiet ever since then. She recovered from the virus a few days back and now she has finally broken her silence. The singer has issued her official statement on social media.

She has explained why she was quiet all this time as she said, “I know there are several versions of stories out there about me. Some of these seem to be fuelled even more because I have chosen to be silent till now. I stayed quiet not because I am wrong but in-fact being fully aware that there have been misunderstandings and wrong exchanges of information.“

Kanika went on to explain how everyone she got in touch with has been found safe. She ended her statement saying, “Negativity thrown at a person does not change the reality.”
