Justin Bieber Wants To Try For a Baby By “The End of 2021”

Justin Bieber is apparently anxious to become a father. In his new documentary Justin Bieber: Our World, which began streaming on Amazon Prime today, the 27-year-old pop star shared some “intentions” for the coming new year. (The documentary was filmed in December 2020.) One major goal that Justin Bieber had for 2021? Have a baby with his wife, Hailey Baldwin.

Justin Beiber said

Near the end of the film—which takes viewers behind the scenes of Justin Bieber’s 2020 New Years Eve concert on the rooftop of the Beverly Hilton Hotel—there’s a scene where the pop star and his wife try their hand at vlogging. While on a morning stroll, Baldwin asks her husband if he has any intentions heading into 2021. Bieber seems to catch her off guard by bringing up the subject of children.

“My intention for 2021 is to continue to set goals and have fun while doing them,” Bieber replies. “Make sure I put my family first. And hopefully… we squish out a nugget.”

“Uh, in 2021?” his wife asks, incredulous.

“The end of 2021?” Justin Bieber says hopefully. “We start trying?”

“I don’t know,” Steinfeld says. “OK, maybe. We shall see.”

“It’s up to you, babe,” Bieber says.

Given that there are less than three months left in the year, it seems that Bieber might not make that New Years Resolution a reality. Still, the pop star is only 27, while his wife is 24—they have plenty of time.

Hailey Baldwin, who now goes by Hailey Bieber, is a model who first met Justin Bieber in 2015. The two briefly dated, broke up, and then got back together in 2018. A month later, they were engaged, and a few months after that, they were married, in November 2018.

If one thing comes through in Justin Bieber: Our World, it’s that Bieber truly does love his wife. “I can be traveling all over the world,” he says at one point, “and as long as I’m with her, I feel like I’m home.”

And who knows? Maybe Bieber and his wife have an announcement coming soon. They already have the perfect song ready for the occasion: “Baby, baby, baby, ohhh.”
