One of the well-known journalists, Vaishali Rathod has been getting birthday wishes from many reputed names of the Gujarati film industry. Born and brought up in Mumbai, she completed her graduation in journalism from the University of Mumbai. Vaishali is currently handling the Gujarati entertainment section from Mumbai. Casting director Avani Soni and actress Kumpal Patel & Khushi Shah showered Vaishali with wishes on her birthday.
Born to Pravin Rathod and Harsha Rathod, the birthday girl feels blessed to make her parents proud with her work. “I really feel contented to bring a smile on the face of my parents. Nothing makes me happier than that”, said Vaishali. The journalist is very old school in terms of birthday celebrations and usually has a get together on her birthday every year. Keeping her birthday low-key, she loves to be at home and spend quality time with family. Besides this, Rathod every year pays her visit to orphanage or old age homes and makes a donation on her birthday.
Amidst the coronavirus outbreak, Vaishali was asked how she plans to celebrate her birthday this year. She said, “As usual, I will be at home and spend time with family. Since the last few days, I have been at home and I am avoiding outdoors. It’s just that I will not be able to visit any orphanage this year. Safety comes first and our beloved Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji has taken the right step by imposing 21-days lockdown in India. I hope everyone remains at home.” Revealing about her birthday wish, Vaishali Rathod stated that she prays for world peace and hopes that everything will get settled with time.
