Jorge Masvidal Says Jake Paul Does Not Have As Much Money As He Offers For Fights
Jake Paul has been the talk of the town once again@ The YouTuber-turned Professional Boxer has been in the news since his career as a boxer started.
Jake Paul faced YouTubers as his early opponents but has now levelled up to fight actual fighters such as Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley. The YouTuber currently maintains a 4-0 professional win streak and is scheduled to face off with Tommy Fury in December 2021 as per reports (even though none of the fighters have confirmed their match so far).
$50 Million Fight offer To Conor McGregor
Amidst all this, UFC star Jorge Masvidal has claimed that Jake Paul is just ‘trolling the world’ with his big-money offers when in fact he does not have as much money as he offers.
Jake Paul has challenged UFC legend Conor McGregor for a boxing match earlier and guaranteed a $50 million pay check for the fight. It is half the money which Conor made fighting one of the greatest boxers of all time, Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather.
What Did Jorge Masvidal Say?
Jorge Masvidal is not buying Jake Paul’s big-money fight offers. In his recent interview with The MMA Hour he said that “This guy talks a lot about ‘I’m going to write you a $50 million check,’ but go look at the pay-per-views that he’s selling. He ain’t writing nobody $50 million checks.”
“Go actually look at the f**king numbers that they actually sold on Showtime or on Triller or whatever thing he’s talking about. He doesn’t have that money. He’s trolling the whole world saying all these big-money deals.”
