Jennifer Aniston was channelling Rachel Green for the Friends reunion. The actress took to her social media handle as she poked fun at the sleeveless mock turtleneck top she wore during the two-hour HBO Max special.
She pointed out that the shirt she wore to the Reunion was very similar to the ones that were worn by her iconic character throughout the 10-season run. The actress first shared a funny cartoon that questioned the practicality of the top. It showed a woman pointing a knife at the shirt as she asked, “What time of year are you for?”
The next story feature a collage of Jennifer as Rachel wearing the same style of shirt on different episodes. It also included the one she wore on the Friends Reunion special. Jennifer captioned the post with an emoji of shrugging blonde woman. The actress had offered Friends a look behind-the-scenes photos. It included the selfie of the actress with all five of her former co-stars: David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow.
“Still basking in all the love from the #FriendsReunion,” Aniston captioned the Instagram post. “Thank you each and every one of you ❤️” She further joked, “Swipe for… The bazillionth selfie taken with the five of us…” David also recently shared a bunch of photos which included their first meeting to plan the reunion which was virtual.
The actor also included photos from when the show ended as he showed fans the last huddle of them as a group back in 2004. He also shared the huddle they had infront of viewers at the Friends Reunion Special this year.
Jennifer had shared, “That time was a very specific time when we were saying goodbye to something that we didn’t want to, we cared deeply about, but we knew it was the time to say goodbye. Our lives were ahead of us. We had our future ahead of us. And it almost felt like time had stopped and we time traveled.”
Friends: The Reunion is currently streaming on HBO Max.
