
Jared Leto Says Working With Denzel Washington & Rami Malek Was His “Dream”
Denzel Washington and Rami Malek have united to hunt down a dangerous killer in The Little Things. The upcoming psychological thriller in which Denzel’s Kern County Deputy Sheriff Joe “Deke” Deacon and Rami’s Sergeant Jim Baxter.
The characters will try to find the man guilty of several murders around Los Angeles. The Little Things will be hitting select theaters and HBO Max on January 29, 2021. It will be following Denzel’s Deke is sent to L.A. for a simple evidence gathering mission.
In the movie, the deputy sheriff, however, becomes entangled in a murder investigation which was led by Rami’s Baxter. The character unofficially appoints Denzel’s character, Deke to help them out. As the investigation moves ahead, more and more from Deke’s past is revealed.
The duo has to work together to unveil the secrets that could threaten more than just the case. Even after all the information that we have received, Jared Leto’s role has been kept under wraps. However, the actor is ecstatic for fans to discover the mystery.
He told an entertainment portal that it is a perfect thriller with a surprise ending that is filled with suspense and mystery. The actor added that he thinks people will have a lot of fun watching The Little Things. “It takes you on a ride,” Jared shared.
The actor also shared that it was his dream to be working with two Oscar winners. He said, “Denzel Washington is my Brando. He’s an absolute legend and a force of nature. Rami is remarkable. One of my favorite actors around and both were an absolute pleasure.”
“These three actors are all immensely talented”
The movie’s director, John Lee Hancock is also excited for fans to unveil the story that he wrote 28 years ago. He shared that he wrote The Little Things back in 1992, 1993.
Further describing the movie, he said, “It’s a thriller with cops hunting a killer, but unlike most of that genre, things unravel instead of coming together in the third act. I think moviegoers will appreciate the unexpected twists and turns of the story, the themes as well as the plot and, of course, the fine performances by Denzel, Rami, and Jared, as well as the rest of the cast.”
However, the director is more than happy to have his movie hit the screen with the superhit star cast. He shared that the movie was almost made twice or thrice in the past. The director added that he is glad it did not happen until now because the cast he has right now is perfect for the story he wants to tell.
John shared, “These three actors are all immensely talented, and they all have different approaches to the work. Even though their work habits were different, they were all respectful of each other, as persons and artists, and meshed well.”
The movie, The Little Things, will hit theaters and HBO Max on January 29, 2021.
