
Janhvi Kapoor’s house help tests positive with COVID-19, here’s what Boney Kapoor has to say
The house help of Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor has been tested positive with coronavirus and has been quarantined by the BMC!
The nation has been under a lockdown since two months now. But the cases of coronavirus are increasing with each passing day. Recently, Janhvi Kapoor’s house help has also been found positive with COVID-19.
HT quotes a source saying, “He was unwell on May 16, Saturday evening and senior Kapoor immediately sent him for tests and later kept him in isolation. After receiving the test report, he informed the society admin and later BMC as well. After which, BMC and state govt authorities started the process of getting Charan into a quarantine centre.”
Boney Kapoor has released a statement saying, “My children, myself and the other staff at home are all fine. And none of us are showing any symptoms. In fact, we haven’t left our home since the lockdown started. We are thankful to the government of Maharashtra and BMC for their swift response.” He also added that the family will be diligently following the instructions and advice given to them by BMC and their medical team. He also hopes Charan would soon recover and be back at home with them.
Meanwhile, talking about the novel coronavirus, the cases has crossed a lakh in the country. The virus has also claimed more than 3,000 lives till now in India.
