One Tree Hill’s star James Lafferty Is Engaged to The Royals Actress Alexandra Park

Congratulations are in order for One Tree Hill alum James Lafferty and The Royals star Alexandra Park who just got engaged.

On Monday, the couple announced their engagement, with the 35-year-old taking to Instagram to reveal that he had proposed to the Aussie beauty.

“She said yeah ????????☺️,” Lafferty captioned the post on Instagram, alongside a sweet selfie of the couple embracing, with Park showing off her new ring.

The Australian actress has yet to share the news on her Instagram account. However she did post a snap in Palm Springs, California. Which is where the couple are currently on a romantic getaway. She just simply captioned the image with a simple “Hello ????.” But fans have now bombarded the post with congratulatory messages for Park and Lafferty in the comments.

One Fan shared, “Congrats to you girl!! Can’t wait to see what this new chapter of your life looks like! So happy that you are happy ????❤️.” Another fan added, “congrats on your engagement????????????.”

When did Alexandra and James start dating?

The happy couple have reportedly been an item since as long as 2018, when they first began sharing snaps of each other on social media. The pair appeared to make their relationship Instagram official in 2018. Park posted a picture of the duo standing with Lafferty’s One Tree Hill co-star Stephen Colletti at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival in Monaco. Lafferty did the same.

“Not sure why @stephencolletti and I are dressed for Easter Sunday,” he wrote on Instagram at the time, “but at least @alexandrapark1 came to play. #FTV2018.”

The relationship could be going way further back for all we know. Especially since some reports say that the pair actually met in 2015. When Lafferty directed an episode of The Royals called “Taint Not Thy Mind, Nor Let Thy Soul Contrive against Thy Mother.” In fact, Lafferty went on to direct several episodes of the popular program over the years. However, the duo have chosen to remain private and keep their relationship under wraps for all these years.

Alexandra is best known for the portrayal of her role as Princess Eleanor ‘Len’ Henstridge on all four seasons of the E! soap opera The Royals. Which was created by One Tree Hill show runner Mark Schwahn. Alexandra first found fame playing Claudia Hammond in the Australian soap Home & Away before eventually finding success in the States.

Meanwhile James is most popular for his portrayal of Nathan Scott on The CW teen drama television series One Tree Hill . That ran for nine seasons, from 2003 to 2012.

According to reports, the engaged couple is currently residing in Los Angeles together.
