James Charles, last week during his Instagram QnA session revealed that calling Ariana Grande rude has been the biggest regret of his career. After getting criticized on the internet for flirting with minors, James Charles modestly believed that he could go back to usually posting.

But this rolled out not to be the case. Now, Charles is being criticized for claiming that calling Ariana Grande rude has been the biggest regret of his career.

Allegation On James Charles

Earlier this year, many allegations against the beauty queen came up online. He was accusing the 22-year-old of grooming minors. It all started when a 16-year-old boy accused James Charles of sending him nudes photos and asking him to send his nudes in return. Since then, more than 15 alleged victims came out asserting that James Charles had made inappropriate sexual advances towards them.

Now, the internet is not happy with how swiftly the vlogger swiped away his sexual allegations under the rug.

James Charles Dickinson is an American beauty YouTuber and makeup artist. Earlier while working as a local makeup artist in his hometown of Bethlehem, he started a YouTube channel. He kept posting makeup tutorials and his casual comments get more attention. James Charles is not a mere beauty vlogger today. He has earlier collaborated with Kim Kardashian West. He continues collaborating with celebrities and fellow YouTubers.

In 2018, Charles did a video with Shane Dawson and Ryland Adams. They asked who the rudest celebrity Charles had ever interacted with was. Without giving much thought, James Charles immediately mentioned Ariana Grande.

Charles continued to narrate that incident where she followed and unfollowed him. According to Charles, she went on to unfollow him after she received backlash from fans. Charles was getting dissed online for making obscene jokes in relation to Africa and Ebola also.

James Charles claimed that the 7 Rings singer texted him:

“Hey babe, I saw a lot of angry tweets from my fans and I would never want to disappoint them, so I unfollowed.”

To which he replied:

“You have a hundred million fans, it’s really disappointing that you would, like, stoop to the level of listening to people bullying me, just to, like, appease them, but okay.”

During the question and answer session on Instagram, one of his fans asked him, “What did Ariana Grande do for you to say that she is the worst celebrity you have ever met”?

To which he responded, “Literally nothing. The fact that I said that is one of the biggest regrets of my career & it still follows me 4 years later which sucks. I plan on talking about it more in-depth when I film my review of REM, all I can hope is that people will listen with an open mind.”
