James Blake Announces ‘Say What You Will’, A New Collaborative Single With Finneas

James Blake has announced a new collaborative single with Finneas which is arriving this week. The singer took to his social media account to inform fans about his new single and he shared a photo of himself standing in front of a spread of magazines with Finneas’ face on the cover.

The single is titled Say What You Will and it is set to release on July 22nd on Thursday. This will mark the first glimpse in Blake’s upcoming album. He had confirmed earlier this month that he has completed the making of the album. Back in 2020, in a Grammys red carpet interview with Billboard; the singer discussed that his dream collaborator will be Finneas.

The track has not been officially released yet but fans caught a glimpse of the track in one of Blake’s several intimate live stream performances on Instagram Live. Blake had also covered songs by Joy Division, Beyonce and Radiohead.

The singer has since then released two EPs. One is Before which consisted of original tracks and a Covers EP where Blake took on Billie Eilish’s When The Party’s Over. It was written by Finneas who is Billie’s brother.

Blake’s last album, ‘Assume Form’, was released at the start of 2019. James Blake has released four studio albums in total: his 2011 self-titled, 2013’s ‘Overgrown’; 2016’s ‘The Colour in Everything’ and 2019’s ‘Assume Form’.
