Jake Paul Takes A Nasty Jibe At UFC Fighter Nate Diaz
Jake Paul has been taking the world of influencer boxing by storm! What started out as fun and games has now very well turned into a career for the younger Paul brother.
Jake Paul has been preparing to go in the ring for his fifth professional bout on December 18th with Tommy Fury. In the past Jake Paul had fought professional athletes and UFC fighters in the boxing ring.
Undefeated Boxing Record
Jake Paul is 4-0 as a professional boxer and would look to extend his win streak in December when he locks horns with Tommy Fury. However, not everyone is impressed by Jake Paul’s undefeated record.
The YouTuber turned boxer fought Ben Askren few months ago and secured a first round knock out in that fight. Jake Paul was the talk to the boxing communtiy following this incident. While many people praised Paul’s ability to box and outperform his opponents in the ring, Nate Diaz felt otherwise.
UFC Fighter Nate Diaz said that Jake Paul fought a ‘retired’ UFC fighter Ben Askren. He explained that Ben Askren is not an expert at boxing and one cannot expect him to put up a great show in the boxing ring.
He commented on an article that talked about Ben Askren praising Jake Paul’s boxing abilities. Here is what Nate Diaz wrote:
What Did Jake Say?
“Coming from a retired wrestler who can’t fight or box,” he said.
During the interview, Ben Askren said that “Jake is kind of good at this. I think what played out is he’s kind of good at it. And if you saw the way I saw it, he was still impressive in his showing, and he has obviously put a lot of time into it.”
Now, Jake Paul has responded to the comments of Nate Diaz. Taking to his official Twitter handle, the YouTube wrote:
“You have six times as many losses as Ben Askren,” he said. “Let that sink in.”
