Jake Paul & MrBeast Challenge Elon Musk To Donate Billions To End World Hunger
Jake Paul and MrBeast, two YouTube personalities, are urging Tesla CEO Elon Musk to donate billions of dollars to help eliminate world poverty… If things don’t work out, MrBeast may have a different strategy in mind.
Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson, a well-known influencer and philanthropist, has launched a massive social media campaign to clean up the world’s oceans. His ‘TeamSeas’ effort, which enlisted the help of several influencers, had already raised over $10 million at the time of writing.
MrBeast isn’t the only star advocating for change in the world; it appears that YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul is also wanting to donate money to charity, but he’s doing so while criticising a famous celebrity. On November 1, 2021, Paul sent a sharp tweet to internet mogul Elon Musk, urging him to give a whopping $6 billion to the United Nations for the sake of eradicating world hunger.
That’s not all; Paul also stated that if his post earned 690,000 likes, he would put down $10 million, implying that he will put down the money regardless of whether Musk donates. While Musk has yet to react to Paul’s offer, another influential figure, MrBeast, has thrown his hat in the ring. “If he doesn’t, give that $10 million to TeamSeas!” he tweeted in response to Paul’s remark.
So far, a plethora of answers has rushed in under the article, most of which are waiting for Musk to respond with bated breath. This isn’t the first time Paul has put his money where his mouth is; in June, the YouTuber donated $5,000 to assist support Sarah ‘Too Sweet’ Alpar’s bout against Erin Blanchfield amid the UFC president Dana White’s pay dispute.
Recently, Jake Paul revealed how he feels that by switching from influencer to boxer, he will no longer be able to be “cancelled,” even if the internet tries to do so. He has ascended to become one of the most popular and profitable content creators on the internet since starting out on Vine in 2013. His ascendancy, though, has not been without controversy.
