Jaden Smith Breaks Silence On Sofia Richie Relationship

Jaden Smith has finally opened up about his relationship with Sofia Richie after being spotted getting close together.

He addressed the buzz going around questioning the nature of their relationship. The pair were spotted getting flirty with each other on the beach on September 5. Jaden and Sofia’s photos circulated the internet in which they were seen holding hands and hugging each other.

However, in an episode of On Air with Ryan Seacrest, Jaden opened up and said he did not see the buzz because he does not look on the internet. He said Sofia and him have been friends for 10 years. The rapper also added that they have been going on the beach for 10 years as well. He continued, “But, yeah, we’re just homies and we love each other and it was fun.”

The duo was also spotted arriving at a friend’s house in Malibu during Labor Day weekend. Both Sofia and Jaden have known each other for a long time. They were rumored to be dating back in 2012 and they have the same circle of friends.

However, a source close to Sofia and Jaden revealed that the duo laughs these rumors off. According to the source, Sofia loves doing these kinds of things when the paparazzi are nearby. The insider adds, “So, she probably played it up for that.”

Sofia and Jaden were hanging out even when she was dating Scott Disick. Although the insider indicates there might be a future for them. Sources said, “Never say never about them dating because you never know what the future holds in life, but not right now.” The insider adds they will be spotted again because they are really close friends and have been for years.

A source also said that both Jaden and Sofia have grown up together and their parents know each other very well. The model just seems to be hanging out with her friends at this time.

Sources added that Sofia is still dealing with her breakup with Scott and she’s just looking to have fun right now. Scott and Sofia dated each other for three years, so it is natural that the model will want to hang around with her friends.
